Charleston Virtuosi is an award-winning wedding and event music agency based in Charleston, South Carolina, founded in 2007 by violist Peter Kiral. Since their first gig at a small wedding ceremony in Mt. Pleasant, they’ve grown into a versatile music provider that has contracted over 2,000 events across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and other U.S. and European locations.
Peter’s musical background spans performing with symphony orchestras and chamber groups throughout Europe and the United States, and he draws on a lifelong musical family heritage. His experience in both classical performance and the electronic music scene influences the group’s broad offerings, including string ensembles, jazz bands, party bands, hybrid DJ groups, and specialty acts.
The company emphasizes a unique blend of musical talent, style, and customer service, aiming to bring top-tier musicianship and contemporary music trends to weddings and events of all sizes—from intimate ceremonies to large productions involving many performers.
Their musical roster includes a wide variety of ensembles and performers (e.g., string quartets and orchestras, jazz musicians, electric violinists, saxophonists, DJs), and they also have arrangers who can adapt nearly any song for clients. Beyond weddings, Charleston Virtuosi participates in concert series and other cultural events in Charleston.
